Top Ten Tuesday (#3)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they decide upon a bookish subject that we then have to choose our top ten. This weeks topic is: Top Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character.

There are so so many great boys in novels so this should have been easy, alas I'm rather picky and found this quite hard. Also I totally crush on these guys now and I'm not a fictional character! Ha! Anyway, here are the boys:

Valek the best assassin in all of Ixia , also partner to Yelena. Yes they do make the perfect couple, but I can wish right?

Stark stole my heart the moment he came into this series. After all who wouldn't fall for the guy with a bow and arrow? He is also the only love interest in the books who isn't stuck up their own ass. He cares so much for Zoey that he sacrifices himself without hesitation. He is just perfect!

Oh Will. Just thinking of him makes me swoon and gets my heart racing. You're gorgeous, sarcastic, troubled, strong and so, so much more. You sacrifice your love for your best friend. Even though you say you aren't a hero, you can be my prince charming. Even better he loves books!

Ah, Tod the older brother of Nash and he's Grim Reaper. He's caring, protective and has a great sense of humor. Its pretty hilarious when he winds his brother up. If Kaylee wasn't so good for him, I would jump in there.

The bad Salvatore brother... There's not much I can really say here. If you watch the series you will know how irresistible he is. Sigh.

This one may seem quite weird, but I'm strangely attracted to the character  He is so wise due to his immortality and he's kind, despite the power he harnesses.

I've only read this book recently and only the first one in the series but I loved Henry. How he was caring and withdrawn because he wanted to keep Kate safe, even though a failure could lead to his death. He was wise also, this seems to be a recurring thing with these characters hey? I just loved the way he protected Kate and kept her safe from everything, even himself.

Oh Clayton! How I have missed you and your psychopathic ways. Clay is a werewolf, guard to the alpha and mate with the only female werewolf in the world. You should not mess with him, he will protect everything that belongs to him. Even if this does mean doing it in a harsh and slightly disturbing way, but that's why I love him! He has very wolf like mind and is protective of things, and he has a rather twisted sense of humor. There will be no more stories about you though as the Otherworld series is now complete. Very sad times.

Charlie didn't jump out at me right away, and even when reading the novel, I didn't feel overly attracted to him. It was only after when I put the book down and thought about it. How we're both broken people who have problems and maybe we could comfort each other as we know what its like being all alone. It also helps that he's super cute and I just wanted to hug him all the time.

10. Jace Hammond - Shifters By Rachel Vincent
And finally Jace, the shifter I was rooting for all along. He is pretty fine and damn he knows it. He also has a charm that makes the ladies fall for him, but once he chose that special lady in the novels there was no looking back. Either if that did mean defying his elders. Also he has the same last name as me, isn't that fate eh?

Well there you go, you had me gushing over ten of my favourite characters, now it's your turn. I would love to see your Top Ten Characters I Would Crush On If I Were Also A Fictional Character. If you leave your link in the comments I'll pop over and read all about yours. Thank you for stopping by!

  1. Great list! Will and Tod made mine too! And I almost put Henry down, but I didn't. We're gonna have to agree to disagree on the Damon Salvatore. I prefer Stefan myself! :) I really need to read that series by Kelley Armstrong as well as the Shifters by Rachel Vincent!

    1. Ah, I've always preferred Damon, I just didn't like Stefan in the books, he was too boring. You must read Kelley Armstrongs, Women of the Otherworld series and Rachel Vincent's Shifters as they are my all time favourites and are awesome! Thank you for stopping by!

  2. Charlie is such an amazing character, no idea how the hell I forgot about him. Love the list, I still have to read many of the books on this one. :)

  3. Oh... It's awesome to see my brother, Charlie, on your list! I haven't seen anybody else snap him up & personally he does feel like a brother to me. I wouldn't want him to kiss me but I'd happily take a hug (: You, however, kiss him. Meanwhile I'll just try & remind myself that Patrick is gay and I am a straight female. Oh... curses for not being Chris Kelmeckis! You probably don't want to be a Mrs K though, do you? I'll just sit here with the bookish family without you XD

Wow... I kept THAT up for a paragraph? I'm seriously weird!

    1. Ha, I will happily kiss him! Aww Patrick is awesome too, but I would only hug him too! I would become Mrs K for Charlie but not Chris ha! Aww we could totally have a little book family going on!

As to your question on my blog, YES I RECOMMEND Howl's Moving Castle, the book and the movie, even though they're completely different beasts, in my opinion.

  10. I could never really get behind Stark. After the first book, I was pretty loyal to Heath, but I HATE the direction they took his character. Its kind of ruined the series for me.
