Top Ten Tuesday (#2)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they decide upon a bookish subject that we then have to choose our top ten. This weeks topic is: Top Ten Books I Recommend The Most.

I have so many books I could recommend but I'm really going to try narrow it down to my favourites. These will be in no particular order. Here we go:

This series is one of my all time favourites! It has a kick ass heroine in a amazing fantasy world. I just want to jump back into it, if you like fantasy you must read this.

This book has left such an huge impression on me, it has one emotional kick.

Another fantasy series that has left me eager to read more.

This is such a unique dystopian novel, there are no others in it's league. I highly recommend it. It needs more publicity.

This book is such a masterpiece. It stole my heart and is still holding it hostage. You must read it.

I only read this recently but it is so damn good. It's got some really fleshed out characters and the novel is based on the life of Charlotte Rose De La Force, intertwined with the Rapunzel fairy tale. I loved the strong feminist views in the novel.

This is the first book in the Shifters series but I really do recommend them all. If you like urban fantasy you will love these!

This book is so damn good, the third book in the series Clockwork Princess is perfect. The Infernal Devices series is so much better than The Mortal Instruments. I also love it as it's set in London!

One of the most promising debut authors of 2012, and I'm still eager awaiting the second novel. This lady has a lot of talent.

The first book in my all time favourite series. It's about werewolves and it's written so well. I cannot recommend this book and series enough. The series really has changed my life.

You can find my reviews of most of these books on my review page!

Well there you go, my Top Ten Books I recommend the most. I would love to hear about yours. Feel free to leave a link to your post in the comments.

  6. *High five for The Infernal Devices*

Ooo Shadow and Bone definitely could have made my list, it's one of my favourite reads of 2013 so far (I was late getting on that bandwagon). I'm looking forward to more Leigh Bardugo! Poison Study is wonderful too. And The Perks of Being a Wallflower was basically a formative text of my teenage years. Excellent list!
