Letterbox Love (#18)

Letterbox Love is a weekly meme hosted by narratively speaking. The UK book bloggers have joined together and made a British version of IMM, and here it is. I'm proud to be a UK book blogger so this seemed like an excellent new meme to participate in.

Here's what I got this week:

  1. I have Cinder but still haven't got to it! I have way to many unread books! I'm not a massive Pullman fan, there's just something about his stories I can't connect with. Everyone is always shocked when I say that, so it must just be me! haha!
I hope you enjoy your new books :)

  6. Philip Pullman's books are great! I have to re-read them at some point...
And you got Cinder! I feel like I'm the only person who hasn't read it yet. I even saw it in a Czech bookstore in Prague >.< I read about Zombies Don't Cry on someone else's haul a couple minutes ago and it sounded like a fun-creepy read. Enjoy all the books :D

Thanks for commenting on my post! Yeah, Masque was amazing! Gorgeous writing, can't wait for the sequel! And I'd love to get started on Carnival of Souls but I have to wait because I'm participating in a sequel reading challenge in September >.<

  8. Great set of books this week! I adored the His Dark Materials books (I hadn't realized the UK version had a different title for the first book! I like that one better, I think), and have A Tale Dark & Grimm but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I also still need to read Cinder!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I hope you enjoy all your books! :)

  9. I wanted to read Cinder so badly until I realized it ends with a cliffhanger. Now I'll just wait until the second book comes out. I actually read Zombies Don't Cry a while ago, but to be honest, I can't remember a single thing about it.
    Great haul, happy reading!
